Well ... we've been very bad. It is now May and I am just now getting up our Christmas trip to Rome. It seems as soon as we got back to school in January we were hit with so much stuff. One thing led to another, we said we'd write it next weekend and now it's been four months.
So, we'll let the pictures do most of the talking. But of course we'd be remiss if we didn't say that Rome was amazing. So much history. It was overwhelming trying to keep it all straight. Roman Empire, early Christianity, the Renaissance, 20th century Italy - all of this was there. A truly beautiful and amazing city. Attending Midnight Mass at the Vatican, spending two days at Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. Finding a little restaurant that got to know us during our stay. New Year's near the Spanish Steps.
What an amazing time. Sorry for the delay. Enjoy the pictures!
