We finally did it. The thing that everyone said we had to do. The thing we have been considering for weeks. We went to Rick's Cafe, the Casablanca restaurant modeled after the restaurant of the same the same name in the movie Casablanca. We were not disappointed. The building is beautiful, the service impeccable, and the food is absolutely delicious. It is not a restaurant designed to trap tourists. It is an homage to an amazing movie and a different time. The attention to details in the setting, service and food make you want to watch the movie again, and feel proud of what the movie inspired. We can't wait to share another meal there, and we hope some of you will be joining us at Rick's.
